Hey yo!

Heller to anyone who might be reading this! I've been saying for a while now that I want to start doing a beauty blog and so I think I've finally decided to bite the bullet and just do it.

For anyone who knows anything about me or has known me for a while knows that I've started a lot of blogs... like a lot.. and I tend to like fall off the face of the earth and stop blogging when no one reads them.

So if you're reading, comment. So I don't quit because I feel like I'm talking to myself.

At the moment I'm working on getting an eyebrows tutorial video put up. I've ran into too many freaking difficulties to get it put up tonight I think, but hopefully soon. I've got it recorded, I just have to get it put together.

But that being, I'm tired of staring at the blank page of my soon to be "Beauty Blog".

So I decided to do a You've Got To Get It post. Maybe eventually I'll do a video about it, but for the time being I'm just gonna tackle this one.

Okay so, we'll start with my absolute favorite Christmas present from Steve this year :) My Coastal Scents Brush Set

Let me just say, these brushes are AWESOME. I'm one of those people that do extensive research on things   (mostly) before I buy them and I'd had been researching brushes for awhile. Trying to find the best ones, which ones I'd need mostly, and how much it'd cost me. I came away from researching them with the thought  holy crap, make up brushes are freaking expensive. Until I found these. What caught my eye was the price. And then the reviews. I'm a firm believer in amazon reviews. I have yet to be let down by them. And these handy dandy little brushes have 5 stars. FIVE STARS. Rarely anything every gets a full five stars.
So anyway. Steve got them for me for Christmas and I LOVE them. They are so soft, you get every brush you could imagine, and they do what their supposed to. The brushes that pack on pigment do, the ones that are supposed to be light are. So far the brushes have not shed and they are still super soft.
I definitely recommend getting these. You'll not have to buy any new brushes for a long long time.

Another awesome Christmas present from Steve is the SHANY Natural Fusion Eyeshadow Palette

I love big eyeshadow palettes. I don't see the point in buying small strips of eyeshadow for at least 5 bucks a pop, when you can get this awesome 88 set for $15. Can you hear the bargain shopper in me?? I love these colors. It comes with almost every color you'd (mostly me) would wear. I love natural colors so this fit me perfect. It has shimmery AND matte shadows, so that's cool. And the pigmentation of these are nice. I saw some reviews saying they weren't that great, but I always use these with my urban decay primer, so I don't know if that makes the difference.

SPEAKING OF, my next favorite and MUST HAVE buy is the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion

So let me just say that I wasn't a believer in eye shadow primers before this. I was just all, pshhh. It can't be that great. Well, let me tell you. I was WRONG. and you may not hear me say that too often.
I splurged a little, because I had a gift card and bought this and it seriously has changed my life. I used to deal with the annoyance of my eye make-up literally deteriorating throughout the day and ending up with me looking much less put together at the end of the night than I did in the morning. I thought this was normal. I thought I couldn't change that.
But with THIS awesome stuff, I swear, I've slept in my eye make-up and it has looked just as great 24 hours later as it did when I put it on. In-cred-ible. Seriously. Invest in it.

My last, but seriously not least must have is the new Lo'real Advanced Haircare products. Seriously. I'm in love with these.

You can get it at Wal-Mart or any drugstore

So, I've been on a mission to find the miracle worker for my split ends. I have the worst split ends ever. They are frizzy and coarse and brittle and have the overall appearance of hay. I hate them and I want to chop them off. But I also want my hair to grow out and be long and silky and pretty. So, thus I started my search.
I've tried natural treatments, I've tried multiple products (cheap and expensive), I've tried trimming, I've tried not washing my hair so much. Nothing was working. So when I saw this new line come out, I decided, what the heck, why not?
So first I bought the Total Repair 5 Shampoo and the Smooth Intense conditioner. And first try, I LOVED it. The conditioner made my hair so soft I could not believe it. I felt like someone out of a Panteen commercial. I'm pretty sure like light literally radiated from the sheen in my hair. It looked beautiful... all except for those dang ends.
So I continued in my search and decided to try the Damage Erasing Balm and the Multi-restorative dry oil.
Oh.My.Lawd.
I am seriously in L O V E with the way my hair feels. After using all those just one time I can see a visible difference in my hair. My hair feels lighter, its shinier and softer, and my ends look SO MUCH BETTER. The Balm claims to restore a years worth of damage in just one use. And I'm just saying, it works. Totally worth it. If they ever discontinue it, I swear to God, I am stocking up like its the zombie apocalypse.

Anyway.

I think that's all for today. Hopefully I'll get that video up soon. It's still giving me problems.

Love ya!
